Liquid Biopsy Index

About The Index

Hi! Thanks for stopping by the Liquid Biopsy Index! My name is Nate Royce Ruffle-Deignan. I currently work within the liquid biopsy field as a clinical project manager for Harbinger Health, helping develop multi-cancer detection blood tests.

The liquid biopsy space is one filled with interesting and innovative science, along with established technologies that people already use in their routine medical care. Yet few outside the broader field of biotech seem to know this technology exists, or are not aware of the full extent of its capabilities. Even for those working within the field, the rapid pace of innovation and sheer volume of research can be overwhelming to sift through.

These two challenges are what led me to create the Liquid Biopsy Index. Its purpose is to highlight the field and explain what’s going on within it, all while being a resource that is free and open to the public. For those who are unfamiliar with the technology, the Learn section will help introduce the core concepts and use cases that underpin it. For those who work within the field or are familiar with it, the Research, Patents, and Explore pages provide a structured view of the innovation that has occurred over the past two decades. Those looking for a granular view of companies or research hubs in the field will find the Companies and Institutions pages insightful.

Whether you arrive as an industry veteran or a novice, I hope you leave having learned something new about this exciting corner of science!

Sincerely,
Nate
